JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special educator at Högalidskolan's secondary school, you will work closely with the principal and staff at the school. The job involves developing and shaping the educational work at both group and individual levels, as well as at the organizational level, together with the principal, based on promoting, preventive, and remedial perspectives. You should support educators in how they can structure their teaching so that education becomes accessible, inclusive, and creates participation for all children.

You will advocate for and support the work of the teams, as needed, in pedagogical assessments/action plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a special education degree or other training deemed equivalent by the employer. As a person, you should have good communication skills, be relationship-building, and see development opportunities in both children and adults. You should have the ability to analyze possibilities at the organizational, group, and individual levels. We see that you have experience and the ability to collaborate with others and that you can flexibly meet different needs in the organization. You should be creative and willing to find solutions where the best interests of the children are in focus. We place great importance on personal suitability.
